Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD" Psalms 4:3

How often God uses sweet sister's in the Lord to speak His unchanging truth into my heart, and I thank you all! Recently, the Lord used a sister to share His truth and during the same day I was told of the aching heart another dear young woman has as she recently suffered loss herself.

Through the encouragement I am given the scriptures tell me that I can give to others what God has given me. How "God uses our difficult circumstances to comfort us so that we in turn can be used to comfort others with the same comfort Christ gives us".

We live in a world that is riddled with sin, hopelessness, hurt and despair and I am reminded of the hope that Christ came to give. I am reminded in Mark 8 Jesus' words... "I have compassion for these people...because...". How I am reminded of the compassion Jesus has for you and me...because... of the very thing your heart needing this day. I am reminded this morning of the compassion Jesus had on the multitude, the divine care He had and the burden He had for them because ....they followed Him for three days and had nothing to eat. The disciples, despite their love for Jesus, were not looking at the people through the eyes of Christ and could not comprehend the power Jesus had at this point...they wanted to send them away. But, how Jesus is always ready and always bids us to come to Him for life and grace...His favor upon us is always renewed.

So often our sorrows and the crosses we bear are the very thing that leads us running to Him, where we press our face against His, the intimate relationship He desires to have with His children. This sweet sister who shared her transparency of own trials, will never fully realize how adequate she IS and WAS to me that very day. How the enemy wants us to feel inadequate and inefficient but the Lord uses us most when we know we are...because He always enables those He calls, never calling those who are able. How the LORD used her words to minister to me because of her 'eyes of compassion'...how she was God's instrument reminding me of what I already know...that God is a God of new beginnings, a God of Promise.

I feel led to share the allegory of New Beginnings, as it relates to the House that God Built....our lives being built upon the LORD and it reminds us of the God of Promise, of New Beginnings. If we can trust Him with our salvation and with our lives in Eternity we can surely trust Him in the affairs of the day. God is a God of new beginnings and it is never too late as we read in this allegory of "the dear young woman who did not understand how a God of love and mercy could allow such calamity to fall upon her......but in her sorrow she lowered her head and began to weep in humility before the Lord. A humble and contrite spirit the Lord loves. Hope came into her heart. In repentance she put her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ...rejoicing with the builder of the house and the angels in heaven!"

"Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss...in nothing. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted...." 2 Corinthians 7:9-10

"He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD" Psalms 4:3

You are our Faithful Father. You hold us with loving arms and cover our hearts with your tender love...thank you for Your eyes of compassion that see us always.
