Legacy of Faith
1957-2018
A faithful servant of Christ, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend heard the words “Well done, good and faithful servant” from his Savior on July 4, 2018. Born and raised in Linden, New Jersey, he excelled in the sport of baseball. Randy liked to say that the Lord used his talent to bring him the two best relationships in his life, Jesus and his wife Michelle. The same year he accepted Christ as Savior in the Yankees organization, he met Michelle at one of his baseball games. Married and beginning their family in Florida, the Lord moved them to Virginia where Randy served as Assistant Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Richmond. Randy was a spiritual father and friend to all he knew. His chief desire was to know Christ and make Him known. He lived humbly and chose to obey the Lord daily in each decision the day brought. Randy lived for an audience of one, Jesus Christ. He devoted his life to serving the Lord by faithfully loving Michelle, his cherished wife of 36 years; children Kristen and Jessica; his beloved grandchildren Joshua, Eva and Cal Jr. His family looks forward to being reunited with him in Heaven. Until then, they will honor his legacy by serving Jesus as he did.
